By a vote of 185 to 9, the General Conference Executive Committee decided to postpone the GC Session another year.
The quinquennial 2020 GC Session, scheduled for Indianapolis last year, was postponed to 2021 due to coronovirus complications. The assumption was that a year would allow conditions to return to a measure of normalcy. However, travel restrictions that are still in place make it almost impossible to hold the Session in 2021 as well.
The hope is that 2022 will be a year when regular travel can resume. We hope so too.
