Gerry’s wife, Nancy Wagoner, had just come out of surgery to remove a cancerous mass from her abdomen. The surgery was expected to take about two and a half hours, but the mass was so large—larger than grapefruit or softball size—that another surgeon was called in to help with the procedure, which ended up taking over four hours.
The mass was removed along with two sections of large intestine. Preliminary indications are that the cancer had not spread to the liver or other vital organs, and that Nancy will make a full recovery.
Gerry has not given me permission to post this news, but this calls for more prayer than I alone am able to offer. We need the entire Fulcrum7 family praying for Nancy, that the cancer has all been identified and removed, that it has not spread to any vital organs, and that Nancy will make a complete recovery.
Nancy stays behind the scenes, not writing articles or posting comments, but she has nevertheless been vitally important, crucial really, to the success and longevity of this ministry. I believe that Satan would like to attack this ministry by afflicting her with this cancer, but I also believe that God will overrule if we ask Him.
Hence, there is urgency to this call for prayer. We need all of our prayer warriors at their battle stations. “The prayer of a righteous man has great power to prevail.” James 5:16; “For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are inclined to their prayer.” 1 Peter 3:12
“Pray in the Spirit at all times, with every kind of prayer and petition. To this end, stay alert with all perseverance in your prayers for all the saints.” Eph. 6:18
