I ran across a couple of Ben Carson’s speeches at Liberty University, one in 2012, the other five years ago in 2015 when he was at the height of his presidential campaign.
The two speeches are about 30 minutes in length and contain word-for-word passages that he has memorized—as one would expect of any speaker who probably is called upon to make upwards of 50 speaking appearances a year.
Carson’s talks are a combination of his compelling personal testimony, creationist apologetics, and expressions of love for the unique greatness of the United States, which he firmly believes is due to its Christianity.
I post them here not just for the apologetic content, but because they are wonderful and a pure pleasure to listen to.
