A spider’s web is a fascinating construction. Made of interconnecting links; line upon line of fine strands that flex and bend in the breeze. Seemingly fragile—yet pound for pound stronger than steel—its near translucent strands are well adapted to trap foolish butterflies caught within its threads. More than a mere net, a web’s strands cling to whatever touches it; the very effort to extricate oneself from its filaments only ensures further entrapment.
Unfortunately, this is where we are today. A world caught in a web of Satanic lies, devilish plots, and half-truths so intricately woven, and so tenaciously adhesive that every human led effort to untangle one’s self only serves to increase the certainty of entrapment in a confederacy of evil. Ellen White spoke of the danger of such confederacies:
“The wicked are being bound up in bundles, bound up in trusts, in unions, in confederacies. Let us have nothing to do with these organizations. God is our Ruler, our Governor, and He calls us to come out from the world and be separate…If we refuse to do this, if we continue to link up with the world, and to look at every matter from a worldly standpoint, we shall become like the world. When worldly policy and worldly ideas govern our transactions, we cannot stand on the high and holy platform of eternal truth”[i] (Emphasis mine)
Such is the situation when considering the connection between ecumenism, covid, the World Economic Forum, and women’s ordination. Taken individually each strand of the web of Satan’s plots seem to be disparate from one another. However, that is the view of the unlearned butterfly. Just as a field is made up of many individual flowers, so a web is made up of individual strands. These strands connect and intersect over and over again to create a system of entrapment so that essentially no one strand of error is separate from any other. All work together to serve the weavers plan, entrapping the foolish butterfly.
Figure 1
Ecumenism
In August of 2000 a Millennium Peace Summit of Religious and Spiritual leaders was held in New York City.[ii] At this meeting there were several outcomes where faith leaders made commitments as you can see in figure 1.
For a summit of religious and spiritual persons it seems to me that the committed outcomes are suspiciously non-religious. Politics, employment, environment, world peace, wealth redistribution, and nuclear disarmament all seems like they would better fit the UN charter than a gathering of the prayerful and pious. With perhaps the notable exception of the last item; “Practice and promote in their various communities the values of inner peace”. That appears to me to be very much something of an eastern flavor when it comes to religion. A silken thread of self-religion that these groups find in common. Suffice it to say it seems that Jesus Christ was neither mentioned nor welcome even though it was attended by Christians. That is exactly why Seventh-day Adventists should have nothing to do with ecumenical entanglements. Bereft of Christ and His Gospel they bind men in strands of worldly policy, eastern mysticism, and Gaia worship. As White says
“Thus Satan works today through his evil angels. He confederates with men who claim to be in the faith…Thus many are defiled. Their statements are confused and untruthful, their principles are unscrupulous, and Satan finds in them the very helpers he needs”[iii] (Emphasis mine)
I leave the discerning butterfly to ponder if these ecumenical outcomes (confederacies) are in accordance with Biblical principles, nevertheless let us press on.
World Economic Forum
The commitments these world religious and spiritual organizations made were presented to the United Nations when they held their Millennium Summit for the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the UN. Providentially, a certain professor was very much interested in the outcome of such a religious gathering. Professor Klaus Schwab, the founder of the World Economic Forum “requested the Summit to form a delegation of religious leaders to clarify the relationship between economics and religion, which led to the Religious Initiative of the World Economic Forum in January 2001.”[iv] So, since at least 2001 the WEF has openly involved its self in an ecumenical religious Initiative that seeks to bring together money and religion. So, first religions bind themselves together, then they connect with the UN, then they connect with the WEF. What a twisted web indeed.
Before we flutter further, we must pause and consider the WEF. From their website the WEF says that “The Forum engages the foremost political, business, cultural and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas.”[v] (Emphasis mine) So by their own admission the WEF’s purpose to is shape agendas on every level. From the global to the local (top down, authoritarian, mentality). This includes culture—and culture, my little butterflies—includes religion. That is, the WEF has a stake in the theological positions that religions espouse. Now that is a sticky problem that unsuspecting butterflies should beware of.
Lest one ignore the web Professor Schwab has spun thus far a wise butterfly will recall that he is the architect of the great reset in which “you will own nothing, have no privacy, and be happy.”[vi] Lest an unlearned butterfly thinks what could possibly be amiss when religions, governments, and merchants weave their respective influences together I point you to Revelation 18; were religion, politics, and money are one and the same. All connected at the center by the master weaver, the whore of Babylon. What the WEF is helping to build is a world of which White says:
“In the last great conflict of the controversy with Satan those who are loyal to God will see every earthly support cut off. Because they refuse to break His law in obedience to earthly powers, they will be forbidden to buy or sell. It will finally be decreed that they shall be put to death.”[vii]
The total interconnection of religion, politics, and economics forming a great web of confederacy. This is why every earthly support will be removed; because every earthly religion, government, and financial systems will be so caught up in this web and every strand connected to another that there will be no room for God, Truth, or freedom.
Schwab is clearly envisaging world integration. In his 2022 address to the WEF Schwab emphatically stated “Lets also be clear, the future is not just happening. The future is built by us, by a powerful community as you here in this room. We have the means to improve the states of the world.”[viii] Yes indeed, let us be clear. According Schwab the future is not just happening, it is being built, by them. That is, what you see around you in the religious, political, and economic world—which is the scope of the WEF’s web—is not the chance interaction of random individuals (evolution) but an intentional organization to create a common goal (intelligent design). Just as a web is not built by half hazard movements and random action; the weaver has a goal in mind and to accomplish that end, intelligence and deadly purpose in the organization of every thread is necessary.
So now, my little fluttering friend, we come to the final strands of this twisted web. As I previously mentioned the WEF has a Religious Initiative.[ix] On April 9 2020 there was an interesting article published by the World Economic Forum. It is titled “Love your neighbour: Islam, Judaism, and Christianity come together over COVID-19.”[x] Here you will find the connecting link between ecumenism, covid, and women’s ordination. That is, the WEF is directly involved in spinning a health crisis to influence theological positions in an ecumenical context. Reading the article fine print we find “The views expressed in this article are those of the author alone and not the World Economic Forum.” Well since the views of the authors align with the goals, methods, and language of the WEF, not to mention that the article is found on the WEF website, I think it safe to assume otherwise.
The article is authored by; Mohamed Elsanousi, Burton L. Visotzky, and Bob Roberts. What the authors espouse with regards to how Moslems, Jews, and Christians respond to covid is more ultimatum than prayerful consideration. Notice the following “The COVID-19 global pandemic requires an immediate, whole-of society approach to prevent the transmission of the virus…We have seen fellow prominent faith leaders from Christianity, Judaism and Islam issuing opinions, guidance documents – and even fatwas – to their communities that re-analyse religious practices and provide theological opinions on how faith practices or rituals can be adapted to meet the response of COVID-19 and implement social distancing.” (Emphasis mine)
The tone of command and top-down mentality is consistent throughout the article. Notice this section,
“Local religious actors should use the proclamations of global religious leaders as a model to craft context-specific messaging for their local communities surrounding COVID-19. Statements by religious leaders are essential … also serve as a reinforcement mechanism of government messaging.” (Emphasis mine, again global to local action) In essence the authors would have Moslems, Jews, and Christians not preach the tenants of their faith; but submit those tenants to higher authorities, parrot the global religious leaders and “serve as a reinforcement mechanism of government messaging.”
Ecumenism, and church and state union.
Female Ordination
But how does all this tie into women’s ordination you may ask? The WEF answers,
“Quite often, religious texts have been misinterpreted to justify patriarchy and gender-based inequalities, which has resulted in women unable to hold religious leadership positions…Since a majority of religious practices are now conducted at home on the family level, religious leaders should encourage female participation.”
Complete with the top down papal spirit is the denunciation of anyone who opposes the ordination of women to positions of leadership in the church. If you disagree with WO you are misinterpreting your religious texts. Not only that, but the authors actively tout covid isolation as an opportunity for women to seize leadership roles.
How artfully crafted this web of influence. From ecumenism, to economy, from politics to public health, from WEF to WO. Woe indeed are the butterflies that get caught in this web. Satan has a strand for every kind. Don’t like coercive government edicts, but you are ok with WO? Offended by WO but ok with mandates and lockdowns? Don’t trust ecumenical machinations but agree that covid needs a strong response? No matter what thread one lands on the little butterfly is caught, and the spider gets his meal in the end.
Again, like White said above,
“…if we continue to link up with the world, and to look at every matter from a worldly standpoint, we shall become like the world. When worldly policy and worldly ideas govern our transactions, we cannot stand on the high and holy platform of eternal truth.”
To avoid satanic entanglements the Church must do three things;
immediately disentangle ourselves with much prayer and great haste from ANY connection with ecumenical, UN, WEF, or other groups. They are connected not in righteousness but in worldly policy which leads to union with the Papacy, and ultimate destruction.
Entangle ourselves individually to God. Bind ourselves mind, body, and spirit to obey the promise of the Lord “Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.” (Zechariah 4:6). Paradoxically, caught in the Lord’s web of mercy, we will find healing, help, and deliverance.
Finally, press together: “Never entertain the thought that you can be Christians and yet withdraw within yourselves. Each one is a part of the great web of humanity, and the nature and quality of your experience will be largely determined by the experiences of those with whom you associate…Then let us not forsake the assembling of ourselves together.”[xi]
If we do these things, though persecuted by the world, we will fly free in Christ. If we do them not, we are caught up with the world wide web. For a time, we may save our life, but when God burns the web, we burn up with it.
