The Seventh-day Adventist Fall Council starts tomorrow and runs through October 11.

#143 Guidelines for online Churches. Could this be a way for conservative churches trapped in liberal conferences to worship with fellow believers?
#144 Sexual Abuse Prevention. Is this a backdoor way to sneak WO into the church?
Page 47 — Changes to B90 policy regarding dissolution of Unions. Now they can be dissolved in Spring Meeting and Fall meetings. It used to just be fall. This serves as a warning to wayward unions that they could have only six months to get their house in order, or they will be dissolved.
By itself, this change means little, it just provides the GCExcom with two opportunities per year to deal with wayward and rebellions unions. Actually, there is a third option where an emergency meeting can be called to deal with an ‘emergency’ situation.
There is no mention—yet—of the German LGBTQ problem. Perhaps it will come up later in the meeting. It must be addressed.
On page 61 there is an odd reference to equity and fairness. Hopefully this is not a nod to the organizational cancer of DIE (Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity.
Pray the the Lord’s will is accomplished at this meeting. There are several issues in the SDA Church that need to be hit squarely.
