Why are Male Boxers Competing Against Women in the Olympics? Here's The Facts

Martyn Iles, CEO of Answers in Genesis has researched the facts regarding two male boxers competing against women in the Paris Olympics. It’s very interesting. The male boxers are Imane Khelif and Lin Yu-ting. Both are pretending to be women in order to compete (abuse) against them in the Olympics. And the IOC is allowing it.

“Italian boxer, Angela Carini, lasted just 46 seconds in the ring against Imane Khelif, who is biologically male. Angela said she conceded to "save my life" and had never experienced such strong blows before.

When Carini was crying in the ring, she yelled out, "This is unjust!" You only need to look at her opponent to see the problem. He’s a male.

Timeline

  • In 1999: The International Olympic Committee (IOC) stops sex testing female athletes, even though tests found that 1 in 423 "female" olympic athletes was actually a male before 1996 games. IOC claims testing made female athletes 'uncomfortable' - but their own survey in 1996 showed that 94% felt no discomfort about the tests, and 82% supported them.

  • 2003: IOC allows 'transwomen' to compete in women's competitions if they are post-op, which does not negate advantages of male puberty and physique. Puts transwoman athlete on IOC medical board.

  • 2015: IOC DROPS post-op requirement. Instead, requires athletes to keep testosterone below 10nmol/L for 1 year to compete 'as a woman.' This is multiple times higher than female testosterone levels (0.5-2.4 nmol/L).

  • 2021: IOC pushes decisions back onto governing bodies of different disciplines but releases agressive 'inclusion' policy, including language guidelines requiring males in female competitions to be referred to as females.

  • 2023: IOC steps in to govern olympic boxing after cutting ties with the IBA. Allows anyone with a passport that says "female" to compete in women's competition. The IOC received copies of the genetic tests for Khelif and Lin in June 2023, mailed to them by the IBA. They were ignored.

This not only stands in contrast to the IBA, but many of the largest world governing bodies in sport, such as World Swimming, World Athletics, World Rugby, and World Cycling.

The IOC is the Problem

1. IOC has publicly said these two men are not transgender cases. Implied they may be DSD cases. Overtly said they were accepted due to "female" on passport.

2. Chromosome test has been confirmed by multiple sources, including sources not currently affiliated with the IBA. So, they do not have a chromosomal abnormality.

3. Musculature and physique is quite masculine. So, they do not have Swyer syndrome (would entail no natural puberty).

4. If DSD, then that leaves 5 alpha reductase deficiency as the only remaining answer. Ie testosterone did not do all the things it normally does due to an enzyme deficiency (no facial hair for example), but they *do* have testes (possibly internal), male levels of testosterone, male puberty advantages. External genitalia may appear female and sex may have been misidentified at birth.

People say it's "mean" to do this analysis. But it's far more mean not to. Truth is the best standard.

Summary

The reason the Olympic boxing situation has been a cause of such insufferable frustration for some is because we all know two things:

First, men are a lot stronger than women.

In boxing, men punch 160% harder. In more or less all sports, men have a similar athletic advantage. Even Serena and Venus Williams were thrashed by 203rd ranked male player Karsten Braasch in Melbourne Park in 1998 - he beat them 6-1 and 6-2 in back-to-back sets.

It is a raw fact of life that women are made with different strengths compared with men - not physical strength.

Second, we just know intuitively that men are made to use their strength *for* women, not against them.

What we see is a perversion of masculinity and an abuse of femininity that runs exactly opposite to what is good and right. It therefore riles one up from deep inside, if they have a moral compass.

"...show honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life..." (1 Peter 3:7)

A possible third reason is simply the complex of deception and double speak that has been deployed to confuse the issue.

Based on what we know, it is very evident that there are males - people with XY chromosomes, male testosterone, and the advantages of male puberty - punching women in the face for the world's top sporting honour (a gold Olympic medal).

Even saying it like that makes your skin crawl. And so it should. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. To quote Joe Rogan (referring to Iman Khelif) “That’s a man.”

The Paris opening ceremony mocked Christ and the Biblical account of the Last Supper, which gives us a clue as to why they're foolish enough to allow this injustice.

It is in the Bible that we find men are told to "show honour to the woman as the weaker vessel."

For many years this was dismissed as old bigotry, anti-woman, and a restraint on women-can-do-anything 'girl power' to assume they could possibly be "the weaker vessel."

Hollywood movies consistently show laughable scenes of women overcoming men in fist fights and feats of athleticism. Female cops, spies, superheroes, or anyone who has been to a self-defence class can apparently leave a fit 6'3" bloke unconscious and look good doing it.

It's not true and it never was.”
