In a scene that played out several times Monday, a Black Lives Matter protest that began in Columbia Heights confronted white diners outside D.C. restaurants, chanting “White silence is violence!” and demanding that white diners show their solidarity with the mob. Click on the image below,
In Adams Morgan (a DC neighborhood), protesters screamed at a lone woman—identified on Twitter as Lauren B. Victor—for several minutes for refusing to raise her fist with them. “Are you a Christian?” a female protester demanded. We don’t know her answer to this question, but the fact that she was asked this lends itself to two observations.
First, it is worth remembering that some students were asked if they were a “Christian” before being shot to death in various school shootings.
Second, the animating spirit of a horde like this BLM mob is not the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 14:40), but rather Satan himself (1 Peter 4:4; John 19:15). Thus, it is expected that a mob like this would demonstrate hostility to a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 8:7).
Given many comments regarding protesters’ races, it’s worth noting that a young Black woman leading the protest Monday asked White protesters to step forward, as seen here. This direction was given more than once. The white protesters complied. Click on the image below for video:
Angry protesters also confronted other diners, demanding a show of support and accusing them of “White privilege.” The diners, who tried to say they had been marching in previous demonstrations and worked for causes on behalf of Black people, declined to comment afterward about the confrontation.
“I felt I was under attack,” said Lauren Victor, an urban planner, adding that she felt there was something wrong about being coerced to show support for BLM. She is correct, the spirit of coercion comes not from the Father in heaven, but from beneath. It is demonic. It is described vividly in Revelation 13 and it is happening with increasing fervor throughout this wicked movement. It is a trademark of the Dragon.

“Away with him,” they yelled. “Away with him! Crucify him!” “What? Crucify your king?” Pilate asked. “We have no king but Caesar,” they shouted” (John 19:15).
