In spite of concerns about inappropriate sexual language on a female pastor’s web page, Roger Bernard, president of Central States regional Conference issued a letter on October 13 stating that they support this woman and will ordain her on October 23.

This letter was greeted with exclamations of joy by progressive SDA’s, and sadness by more conservative (and committed) Adventists everywhere.
“We fully support Pastor Bulgin, and want everyone to know that her brothers in ministry love her and are glad that she is a part of our family. We look forward to celebrating what God is doing and will continue to do through her ministry, by ordaining her to the gospel ministry” (Roger A. Bernard).
