'Ello lads, the Mouse here, weighing in on the global shortage of true manhood that prompted the above prophetic quote. Paraphrasing the above description, true manhood is honest, courageous, straightforward, diligent, and biblical. And somewhat scarce. Demand is up and the supply is down. In Western culture, manhood is being swallowed up by a zombie, a disfigured beast determined to tear down God's created distinctions between male and female. I am of course referring to feminism.
The feminist zombie was on display last week at the search engine giant Google.
James Damore is a chess master who studied at Princeton, MIT and Harvard. He has been working as a software engineer at Google for four years. Sharp lad.
Danielle Brown is the new Vice President of Diversity at Google (there's a liberal major for you). She has an MBA from the University of Michigan and campaigned for Hillary. She had been working at Google for a only few weeks.
James Damore wrote a memo suggesting that Google should pursue ideological diversity, end discriminatory efforts to achieve diversity through identity politics and be honest about gender differences. Sounds good to me. Danielle responded by denouncing his paper “It’s not a viewpoint that I or this company endorses, promotes or encourages.” Then Damore was fired by the CEO of Google.
Google has spent hundreds of millions on diversity. It has put thousands of employees through implicit bias training, a non-surgical pre-frontal liberal lobotomy. Liberals at Google are even encouraged to accuse each other of hidden biases. Oh, the irony.
Google CEO Sundar Pichai, made some irrelevant noise about free speech before he fired Damore. “This has been a very difficult time.” That’s how Pichai began his letter to Google employees. Some might have thought that he was about to discuss a massive data breach, not an employee writing something that cut across the path of his liberal biases.
It was a difficult time because liberals at Google had to confront the horror of an original thinker in their ranks. Some women were so traumatized by his intrusion into their safe space that they threatened to quit (which sort of proves Damore's point). And so Damore was fired for “advancing harmful gender stereotypes.” I say, what were these stereotypes?
That the gender gap in computer coding could be explained because women are more interested in people and men are more interested in things. That men and women's brains are wired differently (a conclusion that the University of Pennsylvania has also reached through extensive study and research). Women were more cooperative and he suggested and that the gender gap could be reduced by making “software engineering more people-oriented with pair programming.” Google could have disagreed with him. And left it at that. Instead it was, “Off with his head.”
Pichai claimed that some Google employees were “hurting.” Social media accounts were full of bizarre claims that liberal employees were “afraid” to come to work. Poppycock. The only actual casualty was Damore. It’s never the triggered snowflakes crying to media outlets who suffer. Only their targets. In other words, it's a lot like SDA femventists (both male and female) who have been in perpetual trigger mode since San Antonio 2015 (social media is full of them). Live in the NAD, and support the World Church decisions on ordination? Prepare to be marginalized. Or given the bums rush.
The Church
The NAD (like the TED here) is becoming a toxic environment where conservatives are often threatened, blacklisted and marginalized. It is time to hold them accountable, if the Seventh-day Adventist Church will continue to honor their God and His precious Message.
The NAD needs to be told at Fall Council that The Remnant Movement has no place for camels in the tent, and zombies in the sanctuary. Feminism helps no one. It has long since outlived whatever purpose it may have served many decades ago. In a country where a woman now has every single legal right that a man has — and even a few extra ones in her purse, like the right to execute her children with or without the father’s consent — feminism is the quintessential zombie, a Jezebel defiling the church from within. She was invited into the church back in the 1970's and has wrought untold damage ever since. It's time for her to be ushered out, and replaced with daughters of Sarah (1 Peter 3:1-6).
I have never in my life seen a feminist promote the idea that a woman’s uniquely feminine qualities ought to be used to serve and honor men, just as a man’s masculine qualities ought to serve, honor and protect women. The Word of God teaches this however, and faithful Bible believers still believe it.
But biblical complementary gender truth is not a part of the feminist/femventist message. And that is exactly why the NAD's obsession with ‘inequality’ accomplishes nothing of value, it just fashions the church after the world. Femventism is built on the false premise that total equality between the sexes is possible, and it leads to the disastrous conclusion that this phantom equality must be achieved through any means necessary, including (and preferably) propaganda and coercion. The problem, however, is that men and women are not equal. They are separate, distinct, and complementary. Equal in redemptive dignity and worth, but unequal in every other way. We should be learning how to celebrate these differences and use them in service to each other, but you won’t hear that from femventists. They are more interested in dismantling all gender barriers.
Femventism is nonsense. It's a complete distraction. I think it’s time to stop making concessions. The answer to our cultural problems — all of our problems — is to love and serve one another, to humble ourselves, and to strive to be closer to God as we share the Three Angels' Messages. This is not the answer that feminism offers. Femventism only drags us further from the truth and separates us from what will ultimately make us happy and fulfilled -- obedience to the revealed will of God in His Creational distinctions.
True manhood and true womanhood will overcome the Beast and his Image. It's that simple. Zombies need not apply.
