On December 18, the Village Church in Berrien Springs, MI sent a letter to the Michigan Conference Administration / Executive Committee, clarifiying what the Michigan Conference was demanding of the Village Church regarding Conrad Vine. The letter,
Commentary
“We are making this affirmation because in the townhall meeting held at VSDA on 12/8/24, Elder Micheff denied that the MISDA had been seeking the ouster of Dr. Conrad Vine without the due process required in the Church Manual, but that MISDA had only been seeking to understand where VSDA stood in regard to Dr. Conrad Vine and his preaching. We, the VSDA elders, reject entirely this portrayal of events by Elder Micheff, which we believe was an attempt by Elder Micheff to hide the repeated attempts of the MISDA leadership to deny the due process rights afforded to all members of the VSDA by the 2022 Church Manual.” This is revealing.
Notice that this letter is unanimously affirmed by 17 elders.
“In the last meeting, when Dr. Conrad Vine was present, the MISDA President affirmed that the insurance for the new clinic would not be approved until Dr. Conrad Vine was removed from his positions.” In this author’s opinion, this reason alone is enough for the Conference President to resign, to minimize any further reproach to the Michigan Conference.
In the last ten days, there have been a flurry of attempts to vindicate the Michigan Conference by institutional trucklers, including a rather elfish video, a hit piece on Conrad Vine by a GC employee, and a distorted timeline of events by anonymous writers. Those will be responded to in God’s good time.
Walk with the King and be a blessing!
