One of Britain’s most elite schools is Eton. Its students have included the likes of George Orwell, English princes, and Anglican archbishops. Founded by Henry VI in 1440, today it has gone woke.
Recently, students at Eton have been force-fed the current woke narrative. They are being taught toxic masculinity, fluid gender roles, and that human sexuality is socially constructed. Professor Will Knowland has taught at Eton for nine years. Recently he was asked to lecture to the graduating class. In his lecture he intended to tell men not to be ashamed of being men (Eton is an all-male private school). Before delivering the lecture, he shared its content with other Eton professors for feedback. One objected.
Soon he was asked not to deliver the lecture. He did not present the lecture, but he did post the lecture video, “The Patriarchy Paradox” on his YouTube channel “Knowland Knows.” The school banned the lecture from its own servers and the school’s headmaster, Simon Henderson, asked him to take down the video. (Henderson has been nicknamed “Trendy Hendy” and is identified by students as a key figure in the cultural readjustments being inflicted on students at Eton.)
Knowland points out in his video that although the latest cultural trend is to demean maleness, people are still drawn to male hero figures, and that women who “beta-fy” (dominate) their men lose respect for them. Knowland rejects the fluidity of human sexuality, and even has the temerity to point out that “people who identify as lizards aren’t actually lizards.” Knowland refused to remove the video from his YouTube channel.
Professor Knowland draws his personal motto from historic Eton alumni George Orwell, who said, “If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.” He has appealed his dismissal, and over 1000 Eton students are seeking his reinstatement. Students Revolt!
Men should not be ashamed of being men. Women should not be ashamed of being women. But those who put light for darkness and darkness for light should be ashamed (Isaiah 5:20).
Knowland’s 33 minute video, “The Patriarchy Paradox” can be viewed here:
“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!” (Isaiah 5:20).
A Donorbox has been set up for Will Knowland’s family, for those who may wish to donate.
