God tells us that He made of one blood all nations of men, and invites each of us into His kingdom through the blood of His Son Jesus Christ (Acts 17).
He also tells us through His servant Paul that culture (the world) is passing away and “he that does the will of God will live forever” (1 John 2:15-17). That raises the question, why is a student group at Andrews Seminary celebrating “praise dance” and Blackventist Praise? Don’t these things arise from culture?
If an Adventist is someone who is looking for the return of Jesus (Advent), what is a Blackventist?Unfortunately, the more we love this world and the things in it (like Demas), the less we are able to appreciate the world to come (2 Timothy 4:10; 1 John 2:15).
Let us seek the biblical culture of heaven, not a temporal earthly culture! And let us press together, in these last days.
