Yesterday, the Village Church Board sent an official letter to the Michigan Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. In the letter, they affirm their commitment to the Seventh-day Adventist church and message. They also request — in light of questionable actions by the MISDA Conference — that Pastor Ron Kelly be reinstated as the head pastor of the Village Church by January 2, 2025. This letter is posted on the Village Church website.
As previously noted, what the Michigan Conference has done to Conrad Vine and Ron Kelly has implications for every church, every pastor, and every Seventh-day Adventist member around the world. It says to everyone, “Don’t ask too many questions, don’t challenge us, and don’t question our absolute authority.” This haughty spirit is a reincarnation of the church of the dark ages.
Dear Seventh-day Adventist member, do you want to belong to a church where you are not allowed to ask questions, or challenge the ‘official narrative’? I don’t.
What is needed? Reformation, humility and a return to Sola Scriptura as our guiding principle.
Many people have asked for contact information for Michigan conference administrators. Here is the list.

“Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy; And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south. They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in. Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them. Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses” (Psalm 107:2-6).
