Bismarck, North Dakota
At a recent Constituency session, the Executive Committee of the Dakota Conference recommended to their members that they should ordain people who feel ‘called’ without regard to gender.
“A motion later in the afternoon to table a discussion on ordination for women in ministry was defeated. Delegates voted on a recommendation from the Executive Committee stating that “we recognize whom God calls regardless of gender and ordain them to the gospel ministry in the Dakota Conference.” The motion passed by 59% of the 199 votes cast.”
The Dakota Executive Committee should be fired and replaced with people who follow the biblical guidelines on church leadership. They are either knowingly or unknowingly contributing to gender confusion that will ultimately result in homosexual ordination. See video:
With what the world just witnessed in the split of the United Methodist Church, the Dakota conference is displaying a remarkable lack of discernment and biblical clarity.

”If a man is blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of dissipation or insubordination. For a bishop (elder) must be blameless, as a steward of God, not self-willed, not quick-tempered, not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for money, but hospitable, a lover of what is good, sober-minded, just, holy, self-controlled, holding fast the faithful word as he has been taught, that he may be able, by sound doctrine, both to exhort and convict those who contradict” (Titus 1:6-8).
