This is from Craig Wiley, the father of a student at Fountainview.
I noted the recent article relating to Day Star Academy being spared from wildfire. I thought F7 readers may want to pray that Fountainview Academy be protected from wildfires in the area of the school. The small village of Lytton, British Columbia, some 25 miles south of the school, was quickly overwhelmed by a new, wind-driven fire on Wednesday evening. The village was quickly evacuated, but the extent of the damage is not yet clear. As of Thursday morning, an evacuation order is in place (issued by the Thompson-Nicola Regional District) extending northward from Lytton to within several miles of Fountainview Academy. School staff and students are preparing for evacuation if that becomes necessary.
Information regarding this situation has come to me through my daughter who works at the school, through the BC Wildfire Service website, and through various other web-based sources.
Many F7 readers have been blessed by the music ministry of Fountainview Academy and the purposeful efforts of the staff to incorporate inspired educational blueprint principles into the operation of the school.

“But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you” (Psalm 5:11).
[UPDATE. We are told the town of Lytton is 90% gone. Lytton is 12 miles south of the Fountainview Academy. Our people at the academy were evacuated last night during the night. There were thunderstorms in the area, making new fire starts a possibility. Dense smoke from the fire near Lytton would have made it more difficult to see new fires. The BC Wildfire website shows this morning that the evacuation order now includes Fountainview's property. It looks as if the fire perimeter, as shown on the map, is still a ways from the school. Camp Hope, located near Hope, BC, has agreed to house the Fountainview evacuees.]
