Ben Carson was the 17th United States Secretary for Urban Housing. He spoke to the audience at the Liberty & Health Alliance in Phoenix via a live livestream.
He opened his remarks by saying “I’m not a politician. Politicians do things for political reasons, I do things because I believe in principle.” I like that. There were a few moments of jovial humor, of the kind that is only possible from an humble person who doesn’t take themselves too seriously. Nevertheless, the majority of his presentation was very serious, and heartfelt.
Presentation
“Some people say America is systematically racist. If that is true why are people lining up to come here? Don’t believe everything you hear. These people are trying to divide America.
Our Christian values teach us how to relate to our fellow man. Others say “cancel your neighbor if you disagree with them.” This is bad.
The human heart is desperately wicked, but a relationship with God changes us.
The American Constitution was inspired for freedom. It constrained government.
Are people the central focus of America or is government? According to the Constitution America is governed by the people and for the people.
Marxists come into a stable situation and disrupt it. They develop a scapegoat. Then they demonize them. They put restrictions on them. It takes little imagination to see this happening in our country right now.
As Christians, we must speak for those who cannot speak for themselves. Sixty million babies have been killed by abortion in America. I don’t know if you have ever watched an abortion. I have watched ultrasounds of abortions. You can see the limbs, the heart beating. A tube is sent into the womb. Sometimes the baby moves away from the tube. Then it is killed and removed and discarded.
Our government says they don’t care about your religious convictions. We are (or were) one nation under God. The Creator is mentioned in Declaration of Independence.
National day of prayer was set up in 1972. More prayer is needed, not less. Stand up for freedom.
George Washington was known as the bulletproof man. Many people tried to shoot him during the French / Indian war.
Following the battle, Washington wrote a letter to his brother in which he readily and openly acknowledged:
"By the all-powerful dispensations of Providence, I have been protected beyond all human probability or expectation; for I had four bullets through my coat, and two horses shot under me, yet [I] escaped unhurt, although death was leveling my companions on every side of me!"
Fifteen years later, an old, respected Indian chief sought out Washington. The chief, who had led the Indians against them in the battle fifteen years earlier, revealed to Washington what had occurred behind the scenes during the conflict:
"I called to my young men and said, mark yon tall and daring warrior [Washington]? ...Himself is alone exposed. Quick, let your aim be certain, and he dies. Our rifles were leveled, rifles which, but for you, knew not how to miss--'twas all in vain, a power mightier far than we shielded you. Seeing you were under the special guardianship of the Great Spirit, we immediately ceased to fire at you...I am come to pay homage to the man who is the particular favorite of Heaven, and who can never die in battle."
This story is not in schoolbooks because it was not politically correct. Political correctness is a bunch of garbage.
God doesn’t force himself on us. He wants to save people in America, and the world.
He then told a story of operating on a man with an inoperable tumor in his brain stem. He thought he had killed the man during the operation, as neuro-transmission ceased. He went home very discouraged after the operation. The next day the man was sitting on his bed and talking to people. This experience taught Ben that experience and skill have their place, but God is the one who oversees the affairs of this life.
Courage comes from God. That’s where we need to get it now. There is lots of stuff going on that doesn’t make sense. The government is Ignoring natural immunity. Natural immunity has been accepted since the Civil War. But it is not acknowledged today, due to an agenda.
When it comes to vaccines one size does not fit all. Older people might benefit from vaccine. Young people have a risk factor of o.o2. There is absolutely no reason for them to be vaccinated, and even less reason to force it on them.
mRNA is new technology. There is more risk with this vaccine. Remember, Government can’t save you. Stand up for freedom. Freedom for people to work with natural remedies. Freedom to use lifestyle therapeutics. Freedom to decide what goes into your body.
Two groups of people live 7 years longer than most Americans. Seventh-day Adventists and Mormons.
What will preserve freedom for your children and grandchildren? Us. We must make sacrifices. Consider WWII and D-day. Why did these 19-21 year old men die? They did it for us, for freedom. Will we stand up today? “Yea, and all that would live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution” (2 Timothy 3:12).
America is the land of the free and the home of the brave. Remember, you can’t be the land of free if you are not home of the brave. End
