Seems like I have read somewhere that pride is not a good thing . . .
“When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom” (Proverbs 11:2).
“One's pride will bring him low, but he who is lowly in spirit will obtain honor” (Proverbs 29:23).
“Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall” (Proverbs 16:18).
“Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up” James 4:10).
“In that day you shall not be shamed for any of your deeds In which you transgress against Me; For then I will take away from the midst of thee those who rejoice in thy pride” (Zephaniah 3:11).
“And your sisters, Sodom with her daughters and Samaria with her daughters, will return to what they were before; and you and your daughters will return to what you were before. You would not even mention your sister Sodom in the day of your pride, before your wickedness was uncovered” (Ezekiel 16:55).
The Lord has spoken.
