Is Conrad Vine Still Speaking at the Village Church Symposium?

If I have heard this question once, I have heard it hundreds of times in the last 48 hours. “Is Conrad Vine still speaking at the religious Liberty symposium that he organized as the Village Church Religious Liberty Leader?” Oh the irony…

Answer: We don’t know.

The flyers are still up in the Village Church with his name on them. It is in the hands of the Michigan Conference. Now is a good time to pray for our leaders and for the Michigan Conference and Conrad Vine.

There are 1,683,331 hits (and rising) on YouTube on the Conrad Vine story. Again: 95% of the comments are supportive of Conrad. That is a lot of Adventists around the world.

After the way John Zirkle was treated at the 2022 GC Session on June 6th, banning Conrad Vine from speaking in the state of Michigan is not a good look.

My personal opinion is that Conrad should speak, and my gut feeling is that he will. I also believe that the Michigan Conference jumped the gun on this issue.

We’ll see how it goes.

“And now I say to you, keep away from these men and let them alone; for if this plan or this work is of men, it will come to nothing; but if it is of God, you cannot overthrow it—lest you even be found to fight against God” (Acts 5:8-39).
