The superWoke Florida Hospital Church—now called WholeLife Church—(yes, THAT church) is taking some time off from mocking the Bible to host a movie night on December 5 for children.
This Christmass movie was organized by Vivian Cook, the wife of Tim Cook, CEO of Florida Hospital—a hospital that also approved Yoga (of course) as one of their therapeutic procedures.
This is the same church that presented a disturbing children’s Christmass play in 2018.
They also presented a blasphemous play last year about the Prophet Daniel called ‘Danny And The Shacks.’
This movie is about a young 8-year old kid boarding a magic train to the North Pole to meet Santa, thus convincing him that Santa (err, Satan) Claus is real. The only thing real about the movie is that it is real dumb, real deceptive, and really unfit for the children of people looking for Jesus to return. (Those are called Adventists, distinguishable from boutique ‘Adventists’ who are only in it for the thrill of destroying the Church from the inside.) This movie is another step in that agenda.
Also, there’s the film’s ostensible message, which is that if you’re an eight-year-old kid who is having trouble believing in Santa, you should totally believe in Santa, who is a lie.
A weird cacophony of meanings in the movie is echoed by the boy’s guides. First, is a “ghost” aboard the train who asks the boy if he believes in ghosts. No, we don’t. He (the boy) is also told that “Seeing is believing.” If you see a ghost, it must exist, right? For King Saul, yes—for a Bible-believing Adventist, No.
Second, it is the Conductor who mediates the boy’s journey from the reality of his unbelieving life to the life of faith in the city of lights where Santa dwells. And third, it is Santa who dispenses his rewards to every boy and girl who believes in him. Santa’s imagery in the movie conveys the impression he is God—celebrated and exalted above all else. That’s blasphemy.
Equally disturbing is the teaching that belief is all that’s needed—regardless of its object—without asking “What is right to believe?” What is truth? The Bible says that many in the End Time believe a lie (2 Thessalonians 2:9-13; Jeremiah 7:8). It matters what we believe.
“No matter where the train is going—it just matters that you get on.” Sorry, Christianity teaches more than mindless travel. It teaches us that a man must walk according to the Lord’s will, and walk with Jesus Christ in order to make it to the Destination (1 Thessalonians 4:1). People walking in darkness are also on a journey—the wrong one with the wrong destination.
This Hollywood deception is purely secular, down to the last jingle. Our thoughts? Rubbish, poppycock, and goosefeathers.
