From overwrought soyboys gushing about the latest hair style and earrings, to emasculated fellows stressing over a broken fingernail, one thing is clear in our culture. Manliness is outmoded; patriarchy is unpardonable, and femininity is rewarded—for the men, I mean. Femininity is discouraged in women—in western culture.
Masculinity is acceptable only in our female counterparts. Gruff tattooed, loud women are in, macsuline men are out. Way out.
Jellyfish men are the modern Maginot Line of western culture, keeping the dreaded patriarchical invaders out of Cream Puff land.
Oh, patriarchy is in the Bible? You mean the Good Book has the nerve to present real men leading their families in a God-glorifying direction? Are you saying that biblical manhood protects their families? Yes.
Well, stop it. It’s scary in our emasculated culture. Exhibit A:
A work crew at Oberlin College was installing radiators in some dorm rooms. That means they were installing wall heaters on, well, the wall. But there was a problem.
A student at Oberlin College in Ohio described being "scared" and "angry" after the school announced a work crew would be installing radiators in a "safe space" dormitory for women and trans students, explaining the crew would likely be "cisgender men." (Cisgender means normal guys, by the way. They are just men who have learned a trade, enjoy building stuff, they typically like four wheel drive trucks and dirt bikes and softball. But they are triggering to modern citizens of Cream Puff Land.)
"I was angry, scared, and confused. Why didn’t the College complete the installation over the summer, when the building was empty? Why couldn’t they tell us precisely when the workers would be there? Why were they only notifying us the day before the installation was due to begin?" Oberlin student Peter Fray-Witzer wrote in an op-ed published in the college newspaper on Friday.
He should change his name to Petunia.
The student said he grew concerned because he had not heard of the installation plans before a school email was sent on Oct. 7. He explained that the crew would likely be cisgender (aka normal) men entering Baldwin Cottage, which is home to a "safe space" for "women and transgendered persons."
"In general, I am very averse to people entering my personal space. This anxiety was compounded by the fact that the crew would be strangers, and they were more than likely to be cisgender men."
The work crew eventually showed up at the dorm, and Fray-Witzer described that he saw "immediately that they were all men."
"It was clear that the College had not made a special request that male workers not be allowed onto the upper floors of Baldwin," the student continued.
"By the time I had come back from class, they appeared to be done, though the college facilities manager warned me that they would return later in the week to check the insulation.
Sure enough, they were back the next day. I felt mildly violated and a little peeved."
Sorry about that, uhh… Sir…er…ma’am. God help you if your roof leaks, as most roofers are men. Real men.
God calls men to lead their families in a Godly direction. He calls them to protect their women and children. He calls us to provide for our families, earning bread, almond milk, and delicious haystacks for the family. He calls us to be masculine in a feminized, feeble culture. He made men and women distinct in a beautiful, complementary way.
We need you, men. Fix the roof, take out the trash, change the oil in your wife’s car, fix the toilet and sink, and inspire your family to love the Bible. Love your children. And stand up against the enemy’s attacks on church and family. And love your wives like Christ loves the church.
Oh. Never apologize for the Book “Patriarchs & Prophets.”
God loves that.

“The greatest want of the world is the want of men-men who will not be bought or sold; men who in their inmost souls are true and honest; men who do not fear to call sin by its right name; men whose conscience is as true to duty as the needle to the pole; men who will stand for the right though the heavens fall.”
