Under the title One Step Closer the Central States regional conference is advertising an ordination ceremony for October 23.
We agree. It is one step closer:
To rebellion
To evangelical feminism and the theological destruction of the Body of Christ.
To gutting the Seventh-day Adventist Church’s ability to make decisions as a worldwide body.
To theologically fracking the Seventh-day Adventist church, while pretending that it is moral to do so.
This move is being justified by a vote at the Sunday, September 12 Mid-America Union Constituency meeting. The vote—which was presided over by Gary Thurber—was 82% in favor of violating the Seventh-day Adventist position on ordination. Alexander Bryant was also at that meeting, along with Tom Lemon. They are both in favor of WO.
The term for violating a Church’s voted beliefs and demanding to remain in that church is rebellion. It is spiritually linked to witchcraft in 1 Samuel 15:23. It is the spirit of Absalom.
