Washington, DC— On January 18th, nearly 300 clergy and faith leaders sent a joint letter to the U.S. Senate, calling on senators to do whatever it takes to pass the Freedom to Vote: John R. Lewis Act. The letter was created and delivered by People For the American Way’s African American Ministers in Action and comes as the Senate takes up debate on the bill. Two Adventist pastors are among the signatories of the letter.

What is People For the American Way? (PFAW)
PFAW is a progressive (liberal) activist group organized in 1981 to fight what they decry as right-wing extremism and help elect liberal Democrat politicians. Under the guise of fighting for democracy, they advocate for social justice values, Feminism, LGBTQ and ‘Black Justice’ rights. They have defended Critical Race Theory and LGBTQ ‘rights’ in numerous editorial and op-ed articles. Their president is Ben Jealous. Yes, that is his real name.
This group is also demanding that Biden appoint a black woman to the Supreme Court to replace Steven Breyer.
Two Seventh-day Adventist Pastors are signatories of the PFAW letter demanding that the Senate pass the Biden ‘Freedom to Vote’ Act. This is as political as it gets.
