Democrat Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, concluded his Congressional prayer at the 117th Congress by dedicating it "in the name of the monotheistic God, Brahama, and god known by many names by many different things.” He then bizarrely finished his prayer with “Amen…and awoman.” Cleaver claims to be a Methodist pastor.
Amen means “it is so” or “so be it.” Amen is derived from the Hebrew āmēn, which means “certainty,” “truth,” and “verily.” In English, the word has two primary pronunciations: ah-men or ay-men.
The word Amen has nothing to do with gender, but House liberals are determined to confuse Americans’ understanding of the gender binary. Why, just a day ago, Pelosi introduced new House rules she said will help the body become more “inclusive.” A 45-page package that will be voted on Monday strips all mention of gender-specific pronouns and terms such as "man," "woman," "mother" and "son."
According to Rule XXIII, terms such as “father, mother, son, daughter, brother, sister, uncle, aunt, first cousin, nephew, niece, husband, wife, father-in-law, mother-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, stepfather, stepmother, stepson, stepdaughter, stepbrother, stepsister, half brother, half sister, grandson, or granddaughter” will be replaced with “parent, child, sibling, parent’s sibling, first cousin, sibling’s child, spouse, parent-in-law, child-in-law, sibling-in-law, stepparent, stepchild, stepsibling, half-sibling, or grandchild.” This is what a biblically illiterate woke Congressman looks like, friends. And it isn’t pretty.
Some of Cleaver’s colleagues in Congress wondered if he is womentally unstable. Others said that only a woke lefty could botch a prayer so badly that even God couldn't honor it. Still others suggested that he change his name to Rep Ewomanuel Cleaver.
To that we say “Amen.”
