Pastor James Desvallons is a lay pastor at the Kenhorst Seventh-day Adventist Church in Reading, Pennsylvania. He also has a flourishing Seventh-day Adventist online ministry channel on YouTube. He recently reached out to Ivor Myers in a public video, after Myers produced a video comparing Conrad Vine’s sermon to Satan’s rebellion.
Here is James’ video appeal:
Pastor James’ main points in his video to Ivor Myers:
You are justifying the wrong decision of the leaders of our church by blaming the people at the bottom.
You are blaming 7day Adventists for the for the failures of their elected officials for failing to protect their freedom of conscience against the Babylonian mandates.
You failed to [consider] their claims, and in this whole message, not once did you even try to minister to their pain.
You put the people into camps North and South (Daniel 11) in so doing you fail to judge them properly since both camps are all ready in the wrong [in Scripture].
“I was hoping in this message that you were going to at least try to clean up the mess you've made from your the last message about comparing Dr. Conrad Vine to Satan's Rebellion, which was wild. But, you are completely disconnected from reality.”
Many people have indicated their appreciation for James’ pastoral demeanor in the above video. How do you see it?
